The journey has begun. After a pit stop in Björkliden I got a ride early this morning by Johanna to Evenes in Norway where I took the flight to Geneva via Oslo. On arrival I got picked up by my friend Max who drove me to Chamonix where I arrived early afternoon and then spent a few hours in town with Bjarne Sahlen. New warm mountaineering boots had to be bought and coffee had to be had while the rain was pouring down over the mountains. It feels good being back, even if its just for two days. The flight towards the west is due on Friday from Geneva.
